Privacy policy

Axon is a software studio based in Beirut, Lebanon. This page explains exactly what this website collects, why, and how to get it removed. It is deliberately short, because the site does very little.

What we collect

When you send the contact form we store the name, email address, project type, and message you type in, along with the IP address the request came from and the time it arrived. The IP address is kept only to identify and block automated spam. Nothing in the form is required beyond a name, an email, and a message, and we ask for nothing sensitive — please do not include payment details, passwords, or confidential material in it.

When you simply browse we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records aggregate page views, referrers, and rough country-level location. It sets no cookies, uses no device fingerprinting, and does not follow you to other sites. We cannot identify an individual visitor from it.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies at all — no advertising, no analytics, no tracking. A single session cookie is set only on the private /admin area, and only for whoever signs in to manage the site. That is why you will not find a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare serves and protects this site, so requests pass through their network. Contact-form messages are emailed to us through our email provider so that we actually notice them. That is the full list. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else, and we run no advertising or data-broker trackers.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept while a conversation is active and for up to two years afterwards, so we can pick up where a project left off. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time and we will do it.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Say what you are asking for and we will handle it within 30 days. You do not need an account, and there is no charge.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Admin access is password-protected and rate-limited, and form submissions are validated and sanitised before storage. No system is perfect, but nothing here is stored that would be valuable to an attacker beyond the messages themselves.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly.
